SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT
Yesterday saw some of our staff take a trip to our partner Crow Wood Hotel & Spa Resort with the amazing Healthier Heroes CIC team
This was in conjunction with our National Sustainability Project and company pledge to ‘plant one tree for every 10 units sold’ & ‘plant one tree for every tonne of ewaste’
Yesterday’s project enabled us to plant a number of trees in the woodland that included Prunus Shimidsu, Magnolia, Acer Wilsons, and Salix Tristis whilst educating our staff around our company ethos and values
The National Carbon Offsetting Programme has not only seen us take on some huge clients all over the UK in terms of sustainability but in turn, has allowed us to tick the social pillar of sustainability by supporting a number of charities. In this case the amazing Healthier Heroes CIC helped us plant a number of trees with some of our staff whilst also educating them around the importance of Circular Economy and sustainability
Healthier Heroes, offer a numebr of services to all war veteran in Lancashire and the work they do in our community is nothing short of amazing. some of their services include but isn’t limited to Housing, Rehabilitation, Education/training/Employment, Mental health, Social inclusion, Counselling. In 2020 RecycleIT also donated a full IT suite to Healthier Heroes and have become one of our main charity partners.
